Dr. DeShawn Chapman
Dr. DeShawn is a dynamic leader, educator, and advocate who is transforming education through collaboration and innovation. Over the past two decades, she has served as a social science teacher and department chair, exceptional student education facilitator, athletic coach, adjunct professor of education, and educational programmer. In these roles she ensured that all students—regardless of background—have access to meaningful learning opportunities.
As a leader in community engagement and partnership development, she fosters strategic partnerships and spearheads collective impact initiatives that bring together leaders from various sectors to drive societal change.
